Le Mans FC is seeing a significant change with the departure of Thierry Gomez, the club's president since 2016. After ten years at the helm of the club, Gomez is leaving his position as CEO, making way for a new owner, the Brazilian investment fund OutField. The new owner and president of the club is Pedro Oliveira, co-founder of OutField. This arrival comes after a season marked by the club's promotion to Ligue 1, after a sixteen-year absence. Le Mans FC's budget for the 2026-2027 season is expected to be around 25 million euros. And with this new management team, the Sarthe club can hope for a bright future. The club has also benefited from the arrival of new investors, such as Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic, former Brazilian F1 driver Felippe Massa, Danish racing driver Kevin Magnussen, and Belgian Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibault Courtois. So Le Mans FC can count on a solid squad for the next season. The club has also announced that Marina Del Guerra, an OutField employee in charge of investments, and Aymeric Magne, former president of Estac Troyes, will be alongside Pedro Oliveira to run the club.
