Le Mans FC has entered into a major partnership with the agency Sportfive to manage its commercial rights. The deal is designed to structure the club's economic development following its return to Ligue 1.

Club president Pedro Oliveira, who took over in June, announced the agreement. "Our ambition goes beyond sporting performance alone," he said. "We want to make Le Mans FC a benchmark, both on and off the pitch." Sportfive, which already handles the rights for Lyon, Lille, Le Havre and Toulouse, will be responsible for commercialising partnerships, hospitality, image rights and activations for the Sarthe based club.

The return to the top flight, secured after two consecutive promotions and sixteen years away, necessitates this new scale. The club plays at the 25,000 seat Stade Marie Marvingt, located within the 24 Hours circuit. Xavier Oddone, Sportfive's general manager, praised the club's identity. "Le Mans FC is a club carried by its region and supporters who have remained loyal at every stage." The agency will mobilise its marketing, sponsorship and digital teams to attract new partners to the project.

On the pitch, Olivier Pantaloni's team currently sits 9th in the league with 6 points from five matches. Their recent form shows a need for sharper finishing, with the team scoring only 5 goals in that period, an average of one goal per game. The latest victory, a 2 1 win over Lorient on September 19, featured goals from Adil Bourabaa and Habib Diallo. The next fixture, on October 10, will be a major test away to Paris Saint Germain, who are 6th in the table. This commercial partnership comes as the club seeks to stabilise its finances for the current season and beyond. The upcoming match against PSG will provide significant media exposure to launch this new collaboration.
