Le Mans FC will be without Adil Bourabaa for their trip to face Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes this Saturday. The 21-year-old attacking midfielder, who has scored three goals this season, suffered an ankle injury during Algeria's friendly match against Niger.
The incident occurred while the player was earning his first senior cap for the national team. Bourabaa returned early from the Algeria camp and is set to undergo medical examinations on Thursday to assess the severity of the injury. The promoted club, currently ninth in Ligue 1 with six points, expects to be without its top scorer for several weeks.
This absence leaves a significant gap in the team's attacking play. Bourabaa scored the opening goal in the 2-1 win over Lorient on September 19, the side's only victory so far.
