Le Mans FC has introduced paid parking for its next home match against RC Lens this Sunday. According to a report by Actu.fr published this Thursday, supporters will now need to book and pay for parking in the M1, M2, and M3 lots adjacent to the Stade Marie-Marvingt.

What are the fees and capacities?

The M1 parking lot, located directly in front of the stadium entrance, offers 969 spaces at a rate of €10. The M2 Houx Annexe and M3 Antarès Sud lots provide 1,433 and 1,000 spaces respectively, each costing €5. Bookings must be made online before Saturday at 5:00 PM. The club implemented this measure to improve the arrival and departure experience for match attendees, Actu.fr reports.

Where can you find free parking?

Fortunately, free alternatives are available for this match weekend. Due to the cancellation of the Le Mans Fair, the Panorama parking lot, with 1,409 spaces, is exceptionally free of charge. Access remains unchanged. South of the paid lots, the Houx parking also offers free spaces. To reach it, drivers must pass through the south gate of the Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans, after the Leroy Merlin roundabout in Mulsanne.

How do you access the different lots?

For the paid M1 lot, motorists must pass in front of the Antarès Arena entrance. Access to M3 is via the Antarès Arena roundabout heading towards the hippodrome, then right towards the velodrome. Detailed routes are available on the club's website. Check our fixtures page for the full schedule of home games.

What is the sporting context for this match?

This announcement comes ahead of an important match for Le Mans FC, who currently sit 14th in Ligue 1 with 2 points from three games. Hosting RC Lens, 11th in the table, represents a chance to earn valuable points in front of their home fans. Nearly 1,000 tickets remained available as of Thursday for this fixture.
